Zoltán Baracskai

Zoltán has been researching and teaching business decisions at universities since the 1980’s. After studying the possible uses of expert systems he developed the DoctuS KBS knowledge based framework, the operation of which was based on machine learning.
Later, besides inductive and deductive reasoning, he implemented reduction as a part of DoctuS KBS with the use of a special algorithm. This way a simple expert system became a complex knowledge based system. As consultant and coach he has supported the preparation of business decisions and the transparency of decision processes with the help of the DoctuS KBS framework for several international and Hungarian companies.

Jolán Velencei

After many years of experience in IT, Jolán joined the DoctuS KBS developer team in 1995. Simultaneously, she started a scientific career, where her field of research was the investigation of business decisions, especially how to map and share the knowledge of the decision-makers. As a business coach in several coaching processes she supports one of the most important steps of constructing a knowledge base: the extraction of knowledge.
Building on her IT background she can easily connect the reasoning of the decision-makers and the strict steps of constructing a knowledge base.

Viktor Dörfler

Currently based in Glasgow, Viktor is a lecturer at the Business School of University of Strathclyde. His field of research is the manageability of knowledge and the connection of expert systems and other IT systems. He joined the development works of DoctuS KBS in 1998. In his view the input interfaces of the DoctuS KBS framework can already be linked to databases, and the output can be presented on a web page.
